Submitting an appointment request does not guarantee:

Appointment Requests

The Request Appointment form is intended for prospective new patients.

Existing Patients

Existing patients should use the HWS Patient Portal for secure patient communications and appointment-related requests:

This includes cancellation and rescheduling requests.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

Patients should cancel or reschedule appointments at least 48 hours in advance through the Patient Portal.

Patients may also send a message through the Patient Portal to request cancellation or rescheduling.

Any future late-cancellation or no-show fee should be stated separately only if formally adopted by HWS.

Insurance Information

HWS currently states that it participates with:

• CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield;
• CareFirst BlueChoice;
• Aetna; and
• Maryland Medicaid.

Insurance participation and coverage may change.

Information on the website does not guarantee that a particular service will be covered under your plan.

Patients are responsible for verifying:
